About 5 years ago, when Anil narrated a story to me, I inadvertently started describing the screenplay to him. Anil said, ‘Why don’t you write this down?’. That was the start of my journey with Random Drifts as a script/screenplay writer.
It’s been five incredible years working closely with the Madhu and Anil at Random Drifts. Honestly, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I’ve been part of the production crew on multiple projects and had the chance to write scripts for many of them — and every step of the way, it’s been nothing short of inspiring.
What I love most about Random Drifts is their passion for telling great stories and bringing the community along in that journey of story-telling. The passion, the creativity, the attention to detail — it all shows in the final product. But even more than that, it’s the people. My most fun memories and laughter streaks have come during filming or discussing of RD projects. The Random Drifts crew is talented, hardworking, and genuinely fun to work with. It feels more like a family than just a working setup.
Random Drifts has given me so much room to grow, trusted my ideas, and supported my creative quests which I highly appreciate. If you’re looking for a company that actually walks the talk when it comes to creativity and collaboration, Random Drifts is it.

A few months ago, as I was trying to reconnect with my passion for acting, I reached out to several production houses—one of them being Random Drifts. Honestly, I didn’t expect to hear back, just like many times before. But to my surprise, Anil not only responded promptly, he invited me to meet him and audition.
That day marked the beginning of something special. Random Drifts quickly became my creative home.
What I truly love about Random Drifts is their honesty, transparency, and how effortlessly easy it is to work with them. Anil and Madhu are incredibly humble and approachable. They mentor and guide you with genuine care, and they actually listen—your suggestions matter to them, and they’ll consider how to make them a reality.
I feel so fortunate to now be part of the Random Drifts family and their exciting upcoming projects. They’re definitely on the path to bringing a slice of Bollywood to the Bay Area.

Thanks Anil Ji. You took lot of efforts for the class. Really appreciate you taking the time to explain and answer everyone’s questions to their satisfaction. Slides were helpful. Especially for understanding how to capture the best essence of the view. This class helped novice people like me as well as to other advance photographers in the class. There was lot of information in short period of time. I learned so much yesterday. Practical after theory was very helpful too. I definitely learned a lot in just one class. The team has created several impactful short films and music videos, each a beautiful example of skill and artistry in the world of storytelling. Their upcoming film Miss Matchmaker is a fantastic romantic comedy, and I’m so grateful for the opportunity to play a fun side role in it.

Random Drifts will always hold a very special place in my heart, and in my journey in the realm of acting. Anil give me an opportunity to play the part of Smita in his mega project: Miss Matchmaker. I am very honored that I was trusted with this role. It was a very humbling experience to be a part of this project. As, for the first time I realized, and experienced firsthand how much hard work, dedication, finesse, and precision goes into the making of each and every tiny scene of a film. It has indeed been a pleasure to work with Anil and Madhu and the fantastic team that they have successfully created not just professionally but also because of what wonderful humans they both are. It was amazing to see how so many moving parts came together so seamlessly and beautifully to the making of this project. Random Drifts will forever have my support in any capacity that they may deem fit. The reason being that Random Drifts offers a platform for upcoming and enthusiastic talent and giving an opportunity for new comers.
