PRIYA SHAH - CO LEAD (Female, mid 30s, South Asian)
Age Range: 30 to 35
Character Profile: Lead actor’s fiancée and a brilliant tech product lead. Deeply in love with her fiance’, but is torn between her own ambitions and competing loyalties. She is quite protective of her own autonomy and sense of self. Requires a nuanced performance to balance strength and vulnerability.
ANANYA MEHTA - SUPPORTING (Female, early 40s, South Asian)
Age Range: 40 to 45
Character Profile: Lead actor’s older sister, living in Bangalore. Deeply attached to her parents and family, with strong convictions about family duty and responsibility. She's direct and unhesitant when speaking her mind. Underneath that directness, she's stretched thin, torn between competing demands on her time and care, and exhausted from carrying more than her share. This role involves intense, emotionally charged video call/remote dialogue.
DEV ANAND - SUPPORTING (Male, late 30s to early 40s, South Asian)
Age Range: 37 to 42
Character Profile: Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and cofounder of a company. Serves as a steady, unyielding presence against lead actor’s more reactive or emotional moments. Not big on sentiment when there's a job to do; he's the voice of realism in the room. Carries some scar tissue from a past failure that makes him cautious and unwilling to leave things to chance.
KAVITA REDDY - SUPPORTING (Female, 40s, South Asian preferred)
Age Range: 43 to 48
Character Profile: Immigration attorney for a tech firm. Sharp, brilliant and direct. She is the messenger of bad news, delivering devastating legal realities with clinical precision. At times, she tries to show compassion but that facade soon collapses as clients ask more questions.
SURESH GUPTA - SUPPORTING (Male, late 40s, South Asian preferred)
Age Range: 43 to 48
Character Profile: Investor, business like, only cares for profitability of any company that he invests in
